Dr. Chris Shim

With a vision of a comfortable but thorough patient care in mind, Dr. Shim opened Oakdale Family Dental in June of 2006. He received his undergraduate degree from The University of Georgia in 1997 with major in microbiology and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in 2002. He has also been an active member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, The Hinman Dental Society, The Pierre Fauchard Academy. He is a participating member of The Northwestern District Dental Society and The Metro Study Club. He has spearheaded the annual Give-Kids-A-Smile Program and has been recognized as an Honorable Fellow for his community service. In his spare time, Dr. Shim loves Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, mountain biking, listening to music and spending time with his family.
